ASSESSING THE EFFECT OF SAVING FOR TRANSFORMATION PROJECT MODEL ON FINANCIAL INCLUSION OF THE POOR IN GAKENKE DISTRICT, RWANDA

The study focused on assessing the effect of saving groups World Vision’s Saving for Transformation project model financial inclusion poor in Gakenke District, Rwanda. Our population was 1440 members who were low categories. sample size using Yamane (1967) formula 94 respondents and we used a questionnaire instrument. research design both descriptive inferential. With analysis, those people appreciated S4T agreed its effectiveness, with mean= 4.50, standard deviation =0.448. As inclusion, they strongly mean =4.46 0.803. On inferential part, there is strong positive relationship between Inclusion Pearson correlation (r= .727**, N=94, P= .000) . regression affects positively coefficient correlation, R= 0.727 Adjusted R square .523, which gives us 52.8% rate variation dependent variable by independent variable.
